Virtual Event Series
Leading up to the 29th Conference of the Parties, held in Baku Azerbaijan, the German Institute of Development Evaluation and the Independent Evaluation Group of the World Bank founded Evidence for Climate Action as a platform to share tested evidence on what works and what does not work in the pursuit of climate mitigation and adaptation. The E4CA virtual event series brought together evidence from evaluation functions across multiple development organizations on which climate interventions have made a significant impact, as well as the lessons learned from their implementation and potential for scalability.
The first E4CA event series ran from November 4 to 7, 2024 in the lead up to COP 29 in Baku, Azerbaijan, and consisted of daily, one-hour sessions.
